History: Mary Thompson was born and raised to Matthew and Melinda Thompson and was brought up in a Christian-Conservative home to which values she carries to this day. She was introduced to her friends Tori, Shinta, June, Lily, and Nex at a young age and the six did everything together and are still friends even to this day.
Mary had always been the Black Sheep of the group. While the rest of her friends tended to be more liberal and atheist, Mary was always Christian and conservative. Despite these vast differences in core beliefs, the six remained friends and were supportive of each other. Mary dated Nex during their high school years on and off and well into their young adult years, but now they're both single and still have feelings for each other.
Mary went to college at KU in Lawrence alongside Lily and when she came back she worked at a hospital as a nurse. Still going to church and helping out at the church whenever she could. Also becoming a missionary at one point. Now with the return of Tori, Mary decides to work for her in the new mercenary guild under the hope that she would be able to help even more people.
